IRC - Internet Relay Chat

HaDiNet provides an IRC-Service. It is not only accesible through the campus-network but also other networks. The motivation for this was to enable the HaDiNet tutors to communicate with each other, even if the external connection doesn't work. But there is also the channel +chat for general chat. Furthermore there are some hidden channel for tutors only. As like as other irc-networks feel free to enable other channels. The address is irc.hadiko.de.

The hadiko.* hierarchy

Beside test-groups the hadiko.* hierarchy mainly consists of mail2news gateways for mailinglists. HaDiKo owned mailing-list like hadiko-l, hpk[1-5] and others have a bidirectional mail2news gateway. This means that articles posted on the newsserver will be redirected to the fitting mailinglist.

External mailing list are archived in hadiko.lists.*. This lists can only be read. If you would like to You will need a news-reader. There is a overview at Google Directory.
